I've always been the person who figures out how to make things happen.

At 13, that meant teaching myself Photoshop to make questionable collages of Ashton Kutcher and being the person everyone's parents called when their printer stopped working. I've basically been collecting new tools ever since.

Before tech, I built and ran my own textile and e-commerce business in South Africa. I designed the products and surface patterns, shot the photography, made the ads, built the online store, created content, worked with retailers and wholesalers, and dealt with everything else that comes with running a business. There wasn't really a job description. If something needed doing, I learned how to do it.

Then I moved to London and into SaaS, joining Miro as a full time contractor at exactly the kind of scale-up moment where being able to wear a lot of hats was genuinely useful. Five years later, I'm still here.

In that time I've worked across growth, motion, video, campaigns, events, brand and visual identity systems, helping the brand evolve as the company grew. More recently, my work has moved further into creative technology and the systems behind the work: AI, automation, templating, APIs and building a self serve ecosystem that makes it easier for teams to create good, on-brand work without everything having to pass through a designer.

Outside of work, I ride horses, spend too much money on horses and talk about horses. I also have a Sphynx cat, which means even my choice of pet looks slightly experimental.
